Biography

Born and raised in beautiful British Columbia, Shay kingston began modelling professionally around the age of 14. Starting slow she moved my way up from local editorial ads to runway shows and international print campaigns; her largest success to date is being a model for Nike and gaining most of her fame from national print/editorial ads.

Coming from Trinidadian and Irish roots, on the Irish side Shay tends to outlast most of her friends in the party scene but also posesses the staunch Trinni trait of always staying pretty relaxed about almost everything that swings her way and taking her time to explore all possibilities in life, never taking anything for granted.

Shay has limited experience in particular with music video exposure but makes up for that with her extensive work completed in both the film/television industry. This saavy and sensual new talent is fresh on the scene and she is very curious to see where this adventure will take her.

Something that people have difficulty believing is that she is an artist and have been since long before she began modeling. She sculpts and paints, and sells her work and has been doing so for many years. It's her bread and butter and her "raison d'etre" -keeping her in a consistent cycle of passion and evolution. On a side note, by being an artist she tends to respect all other forms of art and adore being surrounded by creativity, and as well as sculpting her other outlets include belly dancing, salsa, writing prose and doing something completely irrational and possibly dangerous at least once a week.

She has reached a turning point in her life where she is ready for anything, just bring it!
