Today, both women stand accomplished. Kathy's triumphs include the videos that preceded Joey's (among them Ja Rule's “Wonderful” and “Caught Up,” and Fab's “Baby”), as well as fashion work for weighty brands like J. Lo, MAC Cosmetics and Budweiser. But the honey-blonde's biggest look has been her role as Ms. Apple Bottoms. “They could only use one girl, and they called me,” beams the thoroughbred. “When they called me for Apple Bottoms, I was jumping up and down. That shit really got me where I'm at now. I've done [four rap] videos and Eye Candy for XXL.”
It's fitting that Ms. Kathy is the representative for a denim line catering to women with petite waists and hella ass. The D.R.-born Bronx resident's math reads 34C-27-40, which gives her more curves than ticker-tape in flight. Unfortunately, this trophy has already been won. Since August, the princess has been engaged to her boyfriend of two years, a gentleman she swears is unfazed by her cosmetic career. “He understands completely, because I was doing this before I met him,” she says. “I've been trying to model since I was little, and now that the doors are opening, he has to be cool with it. He supports me a lot.” |
All praises bestowed upon Mr. Apple Bottoms. He's landed himself a guy's dream wife. “Dominicans are known for sex, big asses and cooking,” tortures Kathy. “I throw down in the kitchen… then I put on my Victoria's Secret and dance for my fiancé––the heels, the outfit, maybe a whip, too. I gotta keep him entertained, or somebody else will.”
When asked why Dominicans receive the lion's share of “best sex performer” votes, Kathy replies, “'Cause we're the best at that!” So, you can only imagine what love has in store for her boo during their honeymoon in Hawaii. “We're not gonna have sex for two weeks before the wedding,” she reveals. “That's gonna be hard for me. I'm a Scorpio and Dominican, so what does that tell you?”
Kathy's wedding is not until July. So, fellas, you've got three months to try your luck. After that, you'll be relegated to enjoying her with mind and remote solely. All you'll have is her illuminating smile in Ja's “Caught Up,” or in Fat Joe's latest, where she glides her lingerie-laced figure into the penthouse scene. Hey, it's better than envisioning her man enjoying the spoils of a woman who, on a scale of one through 10, rates her freakiness “an 11.”´
